March 9th @ AMC Monthly Meeting

Our guest this month is Doug Elliot who will be speaking on "Warts, Chytrids, and Mycorrhizae - Wild Tales from the Wood-wide Web"

What better way to celebrate Spring and the coming of morels than with the telling of tall tales. Our first meeting of the year will feature Doug Elliot. Whether he is singing about mushrooms and berries, marveling at the fungal network beneath our feet, recalling a healing adventure with an aquatic fungus, or telling wild snake tales, Doug Elliott will take us on a hilarious celebration of the natural world. His program is peppered with scientific fact, regional dialects, soulful harmonica riffs, and more than a few belly laughs.
