August 10th @ AMC Monthly Meeting

Our guest this month is Frank Bartucca who will give a talk on "Microscopy."

The presentation at our August AMC meeting will be a demonstration of the club's microscope and screen display by club member Frank Bartucca. There are many fungi out there that cannot be definitively identified solely based on what can be seen with the naked eye or a loupe. Our club has a microscope (and now a camera, too!) which members can use to get an upclose look at spores and the stories they can tell. Please join us to learn more about how to use this valuable tool for mushroom identification.
