The Asheville Mushroom Club is a diverse group of people whose common interest is to learn about fungi. Anyone with an interest in mushrooms is encouraged to join!
More About the ClubBecause of the continuing COVID-19 crisis and following state and local guidelines, the Asheville Mushroom Club will not be hosting group morel forays for spring 2021. We know our members enjoy the socialization provided by forays, but need to keep our members' health foremost in mind as we continue to navigate this global crisis. As communicated previously, our meeting location at the Murphy-Oakley Recreation Center is closed indefinitely for the health and safety of our community. Therefore, until further notice, the Asheville Mushroom Club will continue to hold club meetings virtually for 2021.
Until then, our club members can use Sporadic News to access members-only content, including virtual monthly meetings, videos of our past 2020 programs, access to our Google Group for mushroom ID support, and virtual "forays". Please direct all requests for identification of fungi to our Google group. To join our members-only Google group for identification, please see Sporadic News.
Stay Safe,
Suzie Berryhill
